Owners’ Dressing Room & Study,

introducing a Murphy Bed

In the starboard forepeak, an en-suite study/dressing room with ample storage, Whisper air-conditioning and Fusion Marine sound system completes the spacious Owners’ Staterooms. Should you need additional space for overflow guests, a wall-mounted concealed hideaway Murphy bed folds out to convert this space into an extra guest cabin.

This light and spacious room has a leather-covered desk and a bespoke, ergonomically designed study chair. The built-in walnut cupboards with interior lights provide extra space for clothing and include glass-fronted bookshelves plus storage for office equipment. Full-length mirrors are a dressing-room essential. Ocean Air automated blinds on the large windows, hatches with mosquito blinds and block-out covers and a fan give you full control of light and airflow. The lighting is designed to include discreet foot- and ceiling-level LED lights, plus downlights and low-level red lights when underway to assist with night vision.

The full en-suite bathroom has a self-contained rain shower with a built-in seating area, a toilet with one-touch freshwater flush operation and a soft-close seat, and plenty of storage.

The Hideaway Foldaway Bed – the Murphy Bed

A Murphy bed, also known as a wall bed or fold-down bed, is a space-saving furniture piece designed to be hinged at one end and stored vertically against a wall when not in use. It can be lowered easily for sleeping and raised to create extra living space, making it ideal for small apartments and guest rooms. This is the first time, that we know of, that a Murphy bed has been used on a high-performance yacht.
